{"id":12121,"date":"2025-10-01T08:53:24","date_gmt":"2025-10-01T06:53:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/catedralbcn.org\/?page_id=12121"},"modified":"2025-10-01T12:00:57","modified_gmt":"2025-10-01T10:00:57","slug":"general-conditions-for-donations-and-mass-reservations","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/catedralbcn.org\/en\/general-conditions-for-donations-and-mass-reservations\/","title":{"rendered":"General conditions for donations and mass reservations"},"content":{"rendered":"<ol>\n<li><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Identity of the person responsible<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">In compliance with Law 34\/2002, on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSICE), it is reported that the domain\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/translate.google.com\/website?sl=ca&amp;tl=en&amp;hl=es&amp;client=webapp&amp;u=http:\/\/www.catedralbcn.org\/\"><span dir=\"auto\">www.catedralbcn.org<\/span><\/a><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0\u00a0is owned by the Chapter of the Metropolitan Cathedral Basilica of Barcelona (hereinafter, \u201cthe Cathedral\u201d).<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Nature of the donation<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">Financial contributions made through the Cathedral&#8217;s website for group mass reservations are considered voluntary donations.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">They do not constitute in any case the purchase of a ticket, entry or the contracting of a commercial service, but rather a collaboration intended for the religious, pastoral and maintenance purposes of the Cathedral.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Reservation and confirmation<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">Reservations for group masses must be made using the enabled web form.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">The reservation will be effective once the donation has been made.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Donation amount<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">The suggested amount appears at the time of booking.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">Donations contribute to the maintenance of the Cathedral and the smooth running of liturgical celebrations.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Modifications and cancellations<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">In the event that due to force majeure or pastoral needs the group mass cannot be celebrated on the confirmed date or time, the Cathedral will offer an alternative to reschedule it.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">If the group is unable to attend, they must be notified in advance and the Cathedral will assess the possibility of rescheduling or refund.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Data protection<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">The personal data provided will be processed by the Chapter of the Cathedral of Barcelona for the purpose of managing the reservation and celebration of group masses.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">The data will not be transferred to third parties, except under legal obligation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">You can consult our complete privacy policy at\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/translate.google.com\/website?sl=ca&amp;tl=en&amp;hl=es&amp;client=webapp&amp;u=http:\/\/www.catedralbcn.org\/\"><span dir=\"auto\">www.catedralbcn.org<\/span><\/a><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Website terms of use<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">The user undertakes to use the website in a lawful and respectful manner, refraining from introducing illegal content or content that may damage the image or operation of the Cathedral.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"8\">\n<li><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Intellectual property<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">The contents of the Cathedral website (texts, images, designs) are protected by current legislation on intellectual property.
