  • Organist: Jorge García. Initially trained in Salamanca in piano, organ and harpsichord, he pursued master’s studies in Organ Performance and Historical Improvisation at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, working with Lorenzo Ghielmi, Andrea Marcon, Wolfgang Zerer, Jörg-Andreas Boetticher, Rudolf Lutz and Nicola Cumer. A winner of international organ competitions, his recordings of early Spanish keyboard music have become a reference for both critics and researchers. He has served as Assistant Professor of Historical Improvisation at the Schola and taught at the Katarina Gurska Higher School; he currently teaches Historical Improvisation and Continuo at COSCYL and at the International Organ Academy of Castile. He is regularly invited to teach in European institutions and performs internationally. He is completing a PhD on eighteenth-century Spanish keyboard improvisation.
